Committed to holistic impact

We believe the consequences of human activity on ecosystems, health and communities can only be addressed by looking at the whole picture, not one part of it.

What we stand for

Good intentions are an encouraging first step towards a sustainable future. But intention alone doesn't change a supply chain. Real impact comes from science, evidence and honest conversation with every stakeholder involved, from raw material producers to the brands that sell the finished product.

That's why HOLIMPACT was founded: to give fashion houses, supply-chain actors and the institutions around them a way to move past good intentions and into tangible, measurable results.

We work independently and rigorously. Every recommendation is grounded in science, data and direct engagement with the people closest to the supply chain.

Our Team

Cathelijne Klomp

Founder/Director

Cathelijne has spent more than a decade advising organisations on transparency and responsible sourcing. Having worked across both a global advisory firm and one of the world's leading luxury groups, she understands what it takes to turn sustainability ambition into practice that holds up to scrutiny.

Her particular expertise lies in transparency, responsible sourcing and animal welfare, areas that attract close attention from customers, regulators and investors alike. She brings analytical rigour to complex supply chains, a clear view of the commercial realities organisations face, and the ability to translate demanding standards into decisions teams can act on. Colleagues and clients value her guidance for being exacting without losing sight of what is workable.

She founded Holimpact to bring this experience to organisations seeking to strengthen their approach to sustainability.

Consultant

Dr Josephine McKenzie

Josephine has worked in sustainability across the fashion industry for more than five years, combining academic research with practical work with brands. She has worked with Australian and European brands across luxury and mainstream retail, supporting them on strategy, implementation and communication.

She holds a PhD in social and environmental sustainability practice in the Australian fashion industry and has a research background in sustainable business practices, circular economy, and the nature repair market. She has also undertaken a research fellowship at Australia's best business school, where her focus was strategy and decision-making for social purpose.

Her strength lies in connecting evidence with practice. She understands how sustainability decisions are made inside organisations of very different sizes, and how those decisions are perceived by external stakeholders. She brings analytical thinking and a practical focus on what will work for each brand.
